Samantha Lansford graduated with her Masters of Science in Nursing from Lincoln Memorial University in 2017. Before returning for her Masters degree, she worked as a practicing Registered Nurse. She worked for seven years in Cardiothoracic Surgery Step-down Unit at UT hospital taking care of post open heart surgery patients. She also underwent extra training to become a nursing preceptor, which holds the responsibility for training new graduate nurses. She is certified in BLS and ACLS. She is currently accredited with AANP.
Since she graduated from LMU, she has continued to dedicate herself to the quality care of her patients. Samantha is a Nurse Practitioner who works with patients to identify the root cause of their pain, and from that, she utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to pain management. She believes that pain is multidimensional, and she is genuinely interested in building a personalized treatment program for each individual patient. She has worked and trained with multiple Board Certified Interventional Pain Management specialists, and is very familiar with up to date procedures to help relieve the patient’s suffering. Samantha has a true passion for helping people attain their highest level of functioning possible.
In her free time, Samantha enjoys working out, spending time with her family, and reading.
